Waiting on "immuno stains" from pathology

I was prepared to glue my phone to my ear today so I wouldn't miss the phone call from Lorelei's oncologist today with the pathology results from her biopsy on Monday. I was certainly hoping that call would come earlier in the day.  But the doctor's office just called. They said they checked with Mercy Hospital's pathologist Damion Kistler and he said he was still waiting on "immuno stains" for Lorelei's specimen.  That means we won't hear anything till after 4:00pm today.

So, as I've mentioned on Facebook, I am choosing to continue to avoid playing the "What If" game.  Instead, I'm asking God to calm my anxious mind. Whenever I am tempted to worry or speculate I choose to replace those thoughts with others.

Please continue to pray for Lorelei.  She's been in so much pain she's had to take two Percocet pills instead of just one. And even then, her shoulders are all knotted and hunched up from dealing with the pain. It hurts her to breathe. It hurts us to watch her hurt.
