Video from Lorelei ringing the bell

Yesterday was a big day!  Lorelei completed the last of her prescribed chemo treatments and got to RING THE BELL.  That's a big deal if you've ever been a cancer patient.

Here's a video clip of it.

Hannah took the video and tried to document the crowd that was there to support Lorelei.  She panned away to film the crowd and missed the exact point in time that Lorelei was moved to tears. She realized this just as she saw me rushing in to hug her.

Lorelei still has work to do.  She meets with the radiologist on Tuesday and has her third PET scan on Thursday.  Hopefully she can begin radiation on July 23 so she won't have to make quite so many daily trips to Procure from Stillwater.

I'll post about that soon.

Psalm 91:14-16

New International Version (NIV)

14 “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation."
